Light on the River

แสงบนสายน้ำ

Light Bureau ↗ / 2026

Light on the River is a fictional study beginning with the observation of glass in everyday life. Rather than offering a fixed answer, it makes room to look at form at your own pace.

Transparent layers overlap into boundaries that shift with the viewing angle. Light passing through the form casts colour onto the ground, almost becoming another object. Compare the darker edges with the lighter centre and its shadow.

On a second look, a familiar thing can become a new question. Read this study alongside other collection objects, comparing negative space, weight and the rhythm of surfaces.

LOOKING NOTES / A SECOND LOOK

Three questions for a closer look.

  1. Where does your eye land first? Compare an edge with the space around the form.
  2. If Glass became a different material, how might the sense of weight and touch change?
  3. What does this form recall from everyday life? Save it and compare it with another object on your trail.
