A Place for Small Things

ที่วางของเล็กน้อย

Light Bureau ↗ / 2026

A Place for Small Things is a fictional study beginning with the observation of wood in everyday life. Rather than offering a fixed answer, it makes room to look at form at your own pace.

The grain leads the eye around a curve before meeting a clean cut. The form recalls the touch of objects handled every day. A smooth surface and a grounded base create two different rhythms.

On a second look, a familiar thing can become a new question. Read this study alongside other collection objects, comparing negative space, weight and the rhythm of surfaces.

LOOKING NOTES / A SECOND LOOK

Three questions for a closer look.

  1. Where does your eye land first? Compare an edge with the space around the form.
  2. If Wood became a different material, how might the sense of weight and touch change?
  3. What does this form recall from everyday life? Save it and compare it with another object on your trail.
